The project is design for detect people’s health, keep social distance and prevent the virus spread by the AI model of face detection system and social distance App.The system would detect people’s temperature, and apply the AI model of face detection to see if people wearing the mask. It would also count the crowd and calculate the status then report on the social distance app.
The APP provide the report and make people avoid the place where is crowdy, it tracks an individual’s interaction through a bluetooth and location generated social graph with a COVID-19 positive suspect.It will analyzes other app users in close proximity and alerts via vibration and sound to the user notifying to maintain a safe distance from others.
In this project , my role is doing research, interviews, UX/UI design, prototyping, and consulting. I’m in charge of user research, prepare interview script, interview, synthesis the results, create user persona, user journey, sitemap, visual design, prototype and user testing.
The goal is to help people keep social distance and prevent the virus spread by detect their health, temperature and crowd live situation through the detection system and social distance App.
This app will help the company, school and store to track people’s temperature and control the number of people. Based on this information, the business can create specific business goals. By partnering this app with CDC and government, they will be able to get more data about the distance affect to the COVID-19, and provide a better service to decrease the infection.

Q11. What’s the big influence of pandemic to you?
Most of people wearing the mask when they are at public space. Seldom people said they won’t wear mask when the place is not forcing them to wear. Some of people don’t wear mask when they are at the nature places (ex. beach, mountain, etc.), even that place is crowdy, they think it’s okay because it’s not closed space.
Most People think 6ft is enough for social distance. Some of people want to leave the crowd as far as they can. Most of them calculate the distance by looking, if their arms can reach to other people, then the distance is too close.
People only detect their temperature when they feel not good or having fever. They think if the shops or the stations could detect people’s temperature, then they could check if that person is sick or having fever. This action might could avoid a part of infection.
Most people will keep social distance when they at outside, they want to avoid the crowd, but they can only know the situation based on their experience. They are not sure if the place is crowd or not, and they want to know that before they leave their home, so they can avoid to meet crowd.
People worry to go out because they cannot make sure everyone at outside has wearing mask and keep social distance. They don’t know if they pass through somewhere that there are few confirm cases and it’s high risk to infect.
The main idea is to create a mobile application which include detecting closed devices. The function will remind the user to keep social distance and avoid to being too close with other people. History path could let people know where they passed through before for tracking if they meet someone confirm positive.The app will also include the latest updates from CDC. The users could know the latest news and know if there are confirm cases closed to them.
There would have a system witch apply the AI model of face detection to see if people wearing the mask, it will also detect people’s temperature, count the crowd and calculate number of people. The transportation and stores could installed this detect system to control the crowd and decrease the risk of infection. After the system complete the calculate and detect, it would show the status, and the status would report on the app, so user can see different places status.This system could be install at shops, restaurant, any building and station. People could know the status of the crow and avoid to go to crowd place.
User can see how many device close to , and will get the alert when the distance is too close with other device.
Expect to be able to click on the notification, which would take me to the details of these devices. Currently, the only option is "got it," which makes me take an extra step.
When user know that somewhere have few cases confirm, user can check their path in the history to see if they might have any risk of infection.
Want to see more detail on the daily history record, not just date and time.
User can set the distance range and the notification in the setting page.
User can see the location status near by them. The area status is connect to the detect system which have installed in different transportations or stores.
It’s great that there is information button to show the status description.

System witch apply the AI model of face detection to see if people wearing the mask, it will also detect people’s temperature, count the crowd and calculate number of people.
The system is working base on the infrared camera and the computer/screen. The system will be used at transportation station, department store, government/company building, grocery store, or any place that need to control the crowd of people. The result of the detect will connect to the app status page, let user search the status on their app and check situation.
It’s clear to know how the system and status connect, and the concept is nice.
